The Lochbuie Spring Clean Up event is happening on Saturday, May 16th, from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Lochbuie Waste Water Plant located at 1794 Weld County Rd 39. This is an exclusive event for Lochbuie residents only, and we encourage you to mark your calendars!
To participate, residents must pick up their voucher from the Lochbuie Town Hall beginning April 1st. Remember to bring proof of residency, such as a utility bill or driver's license, to receive your voucher. Each household is eligible for ONE voucher per utility address, and each voucher is good for 1 load. A LOAD IS ONE PICKUP TRUCK BED OR ONE 12 FT MAXIMUM TRAILER.
Please be sure to bring your voucher to the drop-off location along with your unwanted items. Please see the approved drop-off items listed below.
Change in 2026 - Spring Clean-Up Program Update
The Town’s Spring Clean-Up Days have always been a popular and valuable benefit for our residents. To continue offering this program while remaining responsible with Town funds, a small adjustment is necessary this year.
Due to significant increases in environmental services collection and disposal costs — which have more than tripled over the past three years — the Town has had to reduce the number of vouchers provided per household.
Beginning this year, each utility account will receive one voucher for one day and one load.
This change was approved by the Town Board after reviewing the rising costs associated with the program. The Board’s priority was to preserve this helpful service for residents while keeping the Town’s budget sustainable.
We appreciate the community’s understanding as we work to continue providing valuable programs while managing increasing operational costs.
