Building Department

The Building and Development Division is responsible for current and long-range planning to conduct plan review, to issue building permits, to provide inspection services to administer the appropriate Town ordinances to preserve neighborhood character and enhance the Town’s quality of life within the context of the Town’s official Comprehensive Master Plan and to serve as a professional planning and development resource to the elected and appointed officials and community at large.

The Town of Lochbuie has adopted the 2003 "International" building codes.

The Town is enforcing the "2008 National Electrical Code".  This code has some big changes from the 2005 version, so look at this one carefully.
