Town Board Members
The Town is governed by a board consisting of a Mayor, a Mayor Pro-Tem and five Trustees, all selected by the qualified electors of the town. The Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tem and the Trustees serve four year terms with three members serving alternate terms. The trustees shall normally meet twice per month to conduct town business. Town business includes the introduction and passage of town ordinances and resolutions for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare. The Town Board meetings are held the first and third Wednesday every month at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall. The Town Board also sets the goals and objectives for the community through adoption of the annual operating budget and through directives given to the Town Administrator.
